We directly purchase musical instruments sold at Shimamura Music stores from major national brand manufacturers, and sell them on either exclusive or non-exclusive basis in Japan. We regularly attend the main industry trade events, such as the NAMM show in Anaheim, California, U.S.A., Musikmesse in Frankfurt, Germany and Music China in Shanghai, China. To ensure customer satisfaction, we are able to supplement our inventory through direct sales relationships with manufacturers for particular products.
